CREDO has significantly strengthened the agriculture value chain through targeted technology interventions and livelihood training programs in the agro sector. We aim to enhance the income and resilience of rural and marginalized farmers by improving productivity, promoting sustainable practices, and enabling market access. We have actively worked with over 500 rural farmers across different regions through contract farming and collaborative farming models, providing them with training, technical support, and inputs to ensure better yields and quality produce. These efforts are designed to create an ecosystem where small and marginal farmers can thrive economically and sustainably. A key milestone in our agro-based value chain initiative is the establishment of a spices and agro-processing and packaging, oilseed processing unit in Imphal. This facility adds value to raw agricultural produce and serves as a hub for skill development, employment generation, and product standardization. Farmers are supported throughout the value chain — from production and post-harvest handling to processing, packaging, and branding. By connecting grassroots farmers to markets and empowering them with knowledge and tools, CREDO continues to foster rural entrepreneurship, improve livelihoods, and create inclusive growth in the agriculture sector.
