CREDO has been actively involved in enhancing the livelihoods of rural farmers through targeted skill development programs in livestock and dairy management. Recognizing the importance of animal husbandry as a sustainable source of income for rural households, CREDO has conducted a series of training sessions to improve traditional livestock practices with scientific methods. The training programs have focused on various aspects such as cattle health management, feed and nutrition, hygienic milking practices, breed improvement, and disease prevention. These initiatives have been instrumental in equipping farmers with the practical knowledge and skills necessary for managing livestock effectively and profitably. Special attention has also been given to women farmers, encouraging their active participation in livestock rearing and dairy activities to enhance household income and food security.A significant milestone in CREDO's journey has been establishing a small-scale dairy processing unit at Kimbi in the Bishnupur district, in collaboration with the Community Network Foundation. This initiative has created a local platform for value addition and marketing milk and dairy products, benefiting farmers by increasing their income and reducing post-harvest losses. The unit processes locally collected milk into packaged dairy products, promoting local entrepreneurship and strengthening the rural value chain.

Through these efforts, CREDO continues to support the vision of rural self-reliance by integrating capacity building with infrastructure development. The livestock and dairy initiatives have improved the economic condition of participating households and fostered a sense of community-led growth and development.
